Lash extensions generally last 3 to 6 weeks, which mirrors your natural lash shedding cycle. However, because they shed gradually as your natural lashes grow and fall out, we recommend getting refills every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain a full, voluminous look. You must have at least 40% of extensions retaining to be considered a touch up. Anything after 4 weeks will be considered a full-set.

Your Natural Lash Cycle: Eyelashes naturally shed every 6 to 8 weeks, with individuals losing about 1 to 5 natural lashes a day. When a natural lash falls out, the extension attached to it falls out as well.

Aftercare at home: Using oil-free cleansers and avoiding heavy eye rubbing, picking, and oil-based skincare products can dramatically improve retention.
